Popcorn Maker: Tutorial Video

Standard: TF-V Productivity and Professional Practice Educational technology facilitators apply technology to enhance and improve personal productivity and professional practice. A-4: use a variety of distance learning systems and use at least one to support personal/professional development.

Assignment:Using a variety of technology tools the assignment was to create an instructional video from pre-production, to production, to post-production. The purpose of this video-based learning experience is to engage students in active learning. 

Reflection: This assignment challenged me in learning a new tool that I had never used before. The tool call Popcorn Maker, allowed me to enhance a video I had created for my teachers who enrolled in my instructional technology online course. The video was a course overview video. I gave the teachers a brief tour of course. The Popcorn Maker added layers of other components to this original video. Popup windows, hotspots and audio bytes made this very ordinary video an interactive technology tool.
