Standard: TL-III.A. Facilitate technology-enhanced experiences that address content standards and student technology standards.

Assignment: During the course we were assigned to make a word cloud using the text from our Professional Goal Statement. I used Wordle to create my word cloud.

Reflection: Looking at the word cloud above, I like how the randomizing of the text ended up. Education is up in front with student, teachers, and classroom following. Most importantly, I like that even though technology is the largest word in the word cloud, meaning that it was used the most in my professional goal statement, it is in the lower right corner of the word cloud. This is where technology should be in instruction, the common variable in what we do as educational technologist, but not the most important component. At the end of the day, it’s more about education, student, teacher and the classroom.
